OUR  FAIR TRADE & ECO-FRIENDLY INITIATIVE

All our rugs are made under fair wages and safe working conditions.  We have developed rigorous  system, which checks  that the rug is made  meeting various social and environmental standards. We also make programmes to empower our artisans and their family by implementing  training programs.  Better income encourages them to participate in continuous improvements in rug production process.

Handmade production methods reduce energy consumption and waste streams compared to productions in mills – factories with heavy machineries.  All our rugs are absolutely Handmade.  Also we limit our use of synthetic yarns like polyester etc. opting instead for natural fibers such as wool, cotton, jute, hemp, silk etc.  We  use swiss dyes for our yarn color.  All this helps a lot in reducing the levels of toxins, to  preserve air and water quality and protect the human beings from harmful substances.
